Meredith Kennedy - Volunteers Coordinator

My name is Meredith Kennedy, I’m currently a 3rd year undergrad student at Sydney Uni. Throughout the course of my degree I’ve been an active member of our student association (SUPA) culminating in my election as president for the 2007/2008 term. My main role in the NAPSA Congress Committee is to keep SUPA and Sydney Faculty of Pharmacy informed of the progress of the NAPSA congress committee. I’m also here to offer a helping hand to the congress committee and to recruit volunteers to show attendees around Sydney. Making every effort to ensure no one goes missing. I will endeavour to make sure that Sydney Congress 08 runs smoothly and everyone has a terrific time.

Julianne Chong - Transport and Logistics

Julianne or ‘Jules’ as she is more affectionately known, is a 3rd year pharmacy student at the University of Sydney. After experiencing the thrill of going to Melbourne’s Congress in 2007, Julianne was not going to miss being a part of bringing to Congress to Sydney in 2008. As the logistics organiser for Sydney 08 she’s responsible for getting you from the airport, to our home turf, Usyd, to all the gorgeous parts of Sydney the OC have planned to take you, and back home again, preferably in one piece…and preferably sober. Julianne can’t wait to see 300 pharmacy students working their way through Newtown pubs, living it up at Bondi on Oz day and making the most of the education sessions. She hopes that through this Congress delegates get the experience of a lifetime- education combined with fun and the rare chance to meet others from all over Australia.

Chin Yen is a 3rd year B.Pharm international student at the University of Sydney. She comes from a tiny little country called Malaysia. Since this will be her very first time attending the NAPSA congress in 2008, she is incredibly excited about meeting fellow pharmacy students from all over Australia and sharing with these folks what she loves most about pharmacy, the university and the city of Sydney itself. She hopes that all the attendees of the upcoming congress will have the time of their lives in sunny Sydney through the education workshops and fun-filled social activities.
